Why work with a pet nutritionist?

Most dog food decisions get made in a store aisle, in about ninety seconds, based on a bag that was designed to sell you something.

Then the itching doesn’t stop. Or the weight keeps creeping up. Or your senior dog stops finishing meals and you start second-guessing every scoop. You read fifteen articles that all contradict each other, and you still don’t know what to actually put in the bowl tomorrow morning.

A nutrition consult replaces the guessing with a plan. We look at your dog — age, breed, weight, activity level, allergies, medical history, what they’re eating now, and what your vet has already told you — and build a feeding plan around that dog specifically. Not a trend. Not an internet rule. Your dog.

What a consult can help with

Weight that won’t budge

Portion and calorie planning for dogs who need to lose weight — or gain it back.

Itching, tummy trouble, and food sensitivities

A structured way to identify what agrees with your dog instead of switching bags every month.

Senior dogs and picky eaters

Keeping calories, protein, and appetite where they need to be as your dog ages.

Puppies and growing dogs

Getting growth-stage feeding right the first time, at the right portions.

Working with your vet’s plan

Support for prescription and special diets your vet has already recommended.

Label decoding

What the ingredient panel actually means, and how your current food measures up.

Nutrition consulting is educational support for healthy feeding decisions. It doesn’t replace veterinary diagnosis or treatment — and when something belongs with your vet, we’ll tell you so.

Questions people are already asking

When does this launch?

Soon — we’re finishing final preparations now. Add your email below and you’ll be the first to know when consults open, along with launch pricing.

Do I have to board or use daycare to book a consult?

No. Nutrition consulting is open to any dog owner, whether or not your dog has ever stayed with us.

Do consults happen in person or remotely?

Consults are designed to be done remotely, so you can do it from home with your dog’s food and records in front of you.

Will this replace what my vet tells me?

No, and it isn’t meant to. A nutrition consult supports and works alongside your veterinarian’s guidance. Medical questions stay with your vet — that’s exactly why we discount consults that come in as vet referrals.

How much will it cost?

Pricing will be announced at launch. Join the update list below and you’ll get it first.
