Most boarding and daycare facilities in the area turn intact dogs away, or charge extra for them. We don’t, and we never have.
Families keep their dogs intact for a lot of good reasons — a veterinarian’s advice to wait until the dog is fully grown, breed-specific health considerations, showing, responsible breeding, or simply a thoughtful personal choice. That decision belongs to you and your vet.
Our job is to care for the dog in front of us. An intact dog isn’t a problem to manage; it’s a dog, and it gets the same suites, the same playgroups, the same attention and the same rates as everyone else. You will never feel judged here for how you’ve chosen to raise your dog.
Boarding intact dogs
Every boarding guest has a private suite, so intact dogs board exactly like any other dog — same $55 per night, same 24-hour staff on-site, same individual potty breaks and outside time.
Private suites
Every dog has their own clean, climate-controlled suite. No shared kennels, no unsupervised contact between dogs.
Same rates, no intact fee
Standard $55/night, VIP $89/night, 20% off each additional dog from your family. The only added charge we have is $10/night on major holidays.
Intact males
Board on Standard or VIP. VIP guests join a trainer-led playgroup or get a private gym session every day.
Intact females
Board on Standard or VIP when not in heat. In heat? Still welcome — see the in-heat section below for how the stay works.
Puppies
Welcome at any age once their full set of puppy shots is complete. Bring their food and we’ll keep their feeding routine.

Daycare for intact dogs
Intact males and intact females (not in heat) join our trainer-led playgroups on the same terms as every other dog: dog-friendly, and a good first free day.
We mix sizes, we match energy and personalities — and we set boundaries. Our trainers watch the whole group and step in early. Intact dogs can be a little more interested in each other; that gets handled the way we handle every playgroup behavior: redirect the dog and use a sound cue to interrupt before it escalates. It works, and it works without singling anyone out.
First day is free
Your dog’s first daycare day is on us. It doubles as their group evaluation — every dog does one, intact or not.
Trainer-led playgroups
Every group is run by a trainer who reads the room and keeps play polite.
Marking, mounting, humping
Redirected and interrupted with a sound cue, same as any other dog. Frequent potty breaks help too.
Same $35/day
Full-day daycare at the regular rate. No intact surcharge, ever. Memberships available.
Vaccines: rabies, distemper and bordetella for every dog. Puppies need their full puppy series complete before their first day — there’s no minimum age beyond that. Upload records in the Owner’s Portal.
Females in heat
Yes, we take them. Here’s exactly how it works, so there are no surprises.
- Boarding only for at least 21 days from the start of her heat cycle. Daycare playgroups aren’t an option during that window — for her safety and for the boys’ sanity.
- While boarding she stays in her own private suite and gets extra potty breaks, one-on-one staff time and private enrichment instead of group play.
- Standard rate applies — $55/night, no in-heat fee. VIP is available too; her daily activity becomes private gym time rather than a playgroup.
- Let us know at booking (or the moment you notice) that she’s in heat, so we can plan her suite and schedule.
- Once she’s past the 21 days, she’s back in daycare like normal.
Intact dog questions, answered
Do you accept intact dogs?
Yes. Intact males, intact females and puppies are all welcome for both boarding and daycare. There is no neuter requirement and no extra charge for intact dogs.
Is there an extra fee for intact dogs?
No. Intact dogs pay the same rates as every other dog: boarding from $55 per night and daycare at $35 per day. The only added charge we have anywhere is $10 per night on major holidays.
Can intact males join daycare playgroups?
Yes. Intact males are fully welcome in daycare as long as they are dog-friendly and pass their free first day, which is the same evaluation every dog does. There is no age cutoff and no separate group for intact dogs.
Can intact females come to daycare?
Yes, when they are not in heat. Once a heat cycle starts, she switches to boarding only for at least 21 days from the start of the cycle, then returns to daycare as normal.
What happens if my dog goes into heat while boarding or in daycare?
We move her out of group play right away and she continues her stay in her private suite with extra potty breaks, one-on-one staff time and private enrichment. We will let you know the same day. There is no extra charge.
How do you handle marking, mounting or humping in playgroups?
The same way we handle any playgroup behavior: our trainers redirect the dog and use a sound cue to interrupt it before it escalates. Playgroups are trainer-led and we set boundaries early, so behavior rarely gets a chance to build. Intact dogs are not singled out or separated for it.
Do you require dogs to be spayed or neutered by a certain age?
No. Some facilities require dogs to be fixed by six months or a year; we do not. Whether and when to spay or neuter is a decision between you and your veterinarian, and it does not affect your dog’s welcome here.
How old does a puppy need to be?
There is no minimum age. Puppies are welcome as soon as their full set of puppy shots is complete, along with rabies and bordetella. Upload the records in the Owner’s Portal and you are set.
Will my intact dog be kept separate from the other dogs?
No. In daycare, intact dogs join the regular trainer-led playgroups — we mix sizes and match energy and personalities, not reproductive status. In boarding, every dog has a private suite, so intact dogs are treated exactly like everyone else.
Do you take show dogs, stud dogs or breeding dogs?
Yes. Show, sport and responsible breeding homes are welcome here. Tell us anything specific about your dog’s routine or handling at booking and we will follow it.
Can my intact dog board with my other dogs?
Yes. Dogs from the same family can board together, and additional dogs are 20% off. If you would rather they have separate suites, just say so when you book.
