Every dog gets a day shaped around what helps them feel comfortable and successful. Playgroups are trainer-led and behavior-based, and play, activity and rest are adjusted to each dog’s temperament and energy.
Evaluated as individuals, not a checklist
A decade of hands-on, trainer-led experience with intact, senior, anxious and socially selective dogs. Being intact, older or new to group play doesn’t rule a dog out. We meet the dog in front of us.
Safe enough to relax
A good day isn’t nonstop play. Smaller, intentionally managed groups, active guidance and real rest, indoors and out. Boarding guests have staff onsite 24 hours a day, and seniors stay in the suites beside our staff lounge, checked through the night.

No surprise fees
Holiday nights are $10 extra. That is the only fee we charge — no exit-bath fee, no late-pickup fee, no evaluation fee, no intact-dog upcharge.
Medications given free
Oral meds, drops and prescription diets on your dog’s schedule, at no charge. Many places bill per dose. We don’t.

Meet Teresa
This is one of my favorite pictures. That’s Damian, my heart dog, a few months before he passed. Damian is the reason behind everything I do. He taught me what a deep, lasting bond with a dog feels like, and helping other people build that kind of relationship with their own dogs became my life’s work.
I’ve spent a decade working hands-on with dogs — part-time at first, then dog and family training as my own business since 2018, helping people and their dogs understand each other. Paws Up grew out of that. Boarding and daycare built on the same idea: understand the dog first, then shape the care around them.
That’s still how we work. No one-size-fits-all routine. Every dog is evaluated as an individual, and their day is built around their temperament, energy and comfort.

Four house dogs share the building with your dog. Gizmo, the Havanese, is our unofficial senior specialist — a nervous older dog who won’t settle for a person will often relax next to a calm little dog. Ember, a German Shepherd, is the daycare nanny who keeps play polite. Raven, a Malinois, is the daycare helper who gets the shy ones moving. Sadie, a retired mixed-breed lady, is the window watcher who keeps an eye on the lot.
We are on Los Rios Blvd in East Plano, a few minutes from downtown Plano, Murphy, Wylie and Richardson.

What services does Paws Up offer?
Overnight dog boarding, trainer-led dog daycare, senior and special-needs boarding, a private indoor dog park, therapy-dog evaluations, and pet nutrition consulting (coming soon) in Plano, TX. We evaluate every dog as an individual, including intact, senior and anxious dogs. Your first day of daycare is free.
Where are you and what are your hours?
2200 Los Rios Blvd, Suite 130, Plano, TX 75074, near Los Rios and 14th Street in East Plano. Lobby hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm and Saturday and Sunday 8am to 2pm. Daycare drop-off is 7 to 11am and pick-up is 4 to 7pm. Staff are onsite 24 hours a day, and boarding dogs are housed beside the staff lounge and monitored overnight.
What makes Paws Up different from other dog daycares in Plano?
We shape the care around each dog instead of running one routine every dog has to fit. Every playgroup is trainer-led and behavior-based: we mix sizes, match energy and personalities, keep groups smaller and intentionally managed, and build rest into the day. We bring a decade of hands-on experience with intact, senior, anxious and socially selective dogs, and we never charge extra for intact dogs, medications or last-minute bookings. The owner is at the facility almost every day.
How much does boarding and daycare cost?
Boarding is $55 per night with 20% off each additional dog from the same family. VIP boarding is $89 per night and adds a daycare or park session, cuddle time, a bath, a photo and a treat. Daycare is $35 per day, or $499 per month for unlimited daycare with a second dog at 50% off. Holiday nights are $10 extra — that is the only additional fee.
Do you board senior or special-needs dogs?
Yes. Senior and special-needs dogs board at our standard $55 per night with no surcharge, and we give oral medications and eye or ear drops at no extra charge. We do not give injections. Prescription diets are welcome. More on senior boarding →
What vaccines are required?
Rabies, distemper and bordetella. Upload records in your Owner Portal, email them to [email protected], or just give us your vet’s name and we will request them for you.
